Welcome to The Ringer!
The name rings a bell, doesn’t it? It conjures images of someone who wants to get the word out (like newsies did when the latest editions arrived, back when information was less instant and accessible). A ringer can also mean someone who stands in — a recruited athlete or expert. And of course, Salvation Army bell-ringers are doing both of those things. So, too, will TrueSense’s new informational blog, The Ringer.
In this edition, and in the ones that follow, you’ll hear about a variety of information that we hope you, as an organizational leader, will find helpful, interesting, or even inspirational. We also invite your feedback, so we can bring you in to the way we tell our collective stories. We promise to be brief, but also to provide opportunities for more.
Our 50-year partnership with The Salvation Army spans across the entire U.S., and we couldn’t be more proud and honored. That partnership has given us the opportunity to learn much about the ways we are all engaging with each other around the organization we love and serve. The stories of what we see and hear now have a place, here, in The Ringer.
